The Constitution Party of Wyoming is the official state affiliate of the national Constitution Party, united in purpose and principle with like-minded state committees across the country.
We stand for the restoration of the unalienable Rights proclaimed in the Declaration of Independence — that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain rights, and that government exists to secure those rights, not to manage every aspect of life. Our commitment is to a plain, honest reading of the Constitution of the United States, according to the original public meaning and intent of the framers.
At the state level, our responsibility is clear: empower Wyoming citizens to preserve and perpetuate our constitutional republic. That means strengthening state sovereignty, defending private property, protecting life, and restoring a form of government that is simple, limited, and accountable to the people.
This is not about partisan politics. It is about first principles. It is about returning to the American understanding that liberty is a gift from our Creator, and that free people do not need permission to live, work, worship, educate their children, or pursue happiness.
Good government should be simple enough for ordinary citizens to understand and strong enough to protect liberty — but never so complex that it hides its reach.
Complexity is often used to justify control. Simplicity restores trust.
The Wyoming Constitution Party exists to restore proper order to government — not by chasing outcomes, but by committing to right methods.
We believe good government begins with moral authority, disciplined restraint, and humility. Results are important, but they are not ours to manufacture. Our responsibility is to govern justly, act constitutionally, and leave the outcomes to God.
Freedom is not something granted by permission. It is exercised by responsible people living within moral and constitutional boundaries. Government’s role is not to manage happiness — but to remove obstacles that prevent its pursuit.
The purpose of the Wyoming Constitution Party is simple:
To govern within clear limits, protect natural rights, and ensure government serves the people without controlling their lives.
We reject the modern model of permission-based living — where citizens must ask, apply, comply, and wait in order to work, build, raise families, worship freely, or live peacefully. That model produces dependency, confusion, and endless expansion of authority.
Constitutional government produces clarity.
Authority does not come from power. It comes from character, consistency, and restraint.
Statesmanship is the disciplined practice of governing with wisdom rather than impulse. It is leadership that understands power is dangerous when unconstrained, and necessary only when properly limited.
A statesman does not promise outcomes they cannot control. A statesman commits to right action, honest process, and faithful stewardship — trusting God with the results.
We believe leaders are stewards — accountable to the people, constrained by the Constitution, and ultimately answerable to God.
The pursuit of happiness requires space — space to work, create, raise families, worship, speak, and live without constant interference.
Government should remove barriers, not create them.
When people are free to live responsibly, communities thrive naturally — without coercion.
Government should:
If government cannot clearly justify its authority, it should not act.
If you believe freedom flourishes under restraint, clarity, and moral responsibility — you are not alone.
The Wyoming Constitution Party is committed to governing rightly, limiting power faithfully, and trusting God with the results
